DMX/Art-Net architecture, scene and schedule libraries, operator handoff

Smart Control Systems

A lighting scheme is only as good as the team that has to run it after we leave, which is usually a facilities department with no lighting-design background and a dozen other systems to manage. We build the control architecture — DMX/Art-Net network topology, scene libraries, astronomical and event-triggered scheduling — around what that team can actually operate, with a simple override always one click away from whatever automated show is running.

We’ve inherited enough abandoned, over-engineered control systems from other firms to design for the operator who inherits ours next.
