Public parkland comes with constraints a private site never imposes: no permanent anchor points, a strict daily curfew on generator noise, and a strike deadline the following Monday morning before the park reopens to its regular users. We designed every element of the installation — light towers, suspended lantern arrays, the show-control backbone — around a rigging and power plan built entirely for rapid reversible install, with the de-install sequence planned in as much detail as the install itself.
The festival has run every winter since on the same rigging plan, refined each year rather than redesigned from scratch.
